Rylee Merrill is Managing Director of CRE Operations at Black Mountain Capital, where he connects capital with high-caliber borrowers and structures creative, execution-ready financing. With 12+ years in commercial real estate, Rylee blends agency-grade underwriting with capital markets savvy across stabilized, new construction, bridge loans, preferred equity, and securitized products for all asset types. Previously at Arbor Realty Trust, he underwrote Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac DUS loans and balance sheet bridge loans. At Berkshire Residential Investments, he worked across Freddie Mac K-series B-pieces, CLO issuance, and multifamily bridge lending. Known for speed, precision, and risk-aware creativity, Rylee has been a problem solver and deal maker his entire career. Rylee has deep relationship with our partners and ensures our capital is optimized, there is certainty of close, and long-term performance for our investments. He holds a B.A. in Economics from Union College.
